Of course, my millionaire has about 5 standup targets to replace, as the target faces are destroyed. I have the targets on hand.

I've wired in targets before, and it's a pain in the ass. Playfield up, barely any room to work. Very little wiring to work with.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice to make it more simple? I usually use some alligator clips to hold the switch against something nearby it's location, like a metal bracket or anything else, while soldering the existing wires to it.

    Any advice?

Read Highendpins thread about restoring games.

New wires, sit at a table and do it. Put a connector on it and one in the game. Stick them in, then plug them in.
