I'm looking for some advice on a playfield repair. I'm repairing a small hole in a playfield (<1/4"). I filled the hole with wood filler to slightly below the surface of the board and then used acrylic paint to match the color of the damaged section. I then sanded the paint down to be flush with the surface. My question is what is the best way to seal this repair? It's a Stern playfield so it has the factory clear coat on it. Can I just get a rattle can of clear and just spray a small area beyond the repair and sand to blend it? Or should I just get the whole board sprayed with clear because blending it would be too hard (and the factory clear isn't exactly thick). Or is there something else you all would recommend? thanks!

I'll have to give the Krylon crystal clear a look. I also need to take a trip to the auto store and see what kinda products they have for touching up clear. Thanks for the advice so far.
