Yea! Now the questions.
I have torn down my Frankenstein table to replace all the rubber and lamps. It is amazing how much I had to remove to be able to get at all of the playfield rubber and lamps. I am using Novus 1 and 2 to clean the playfield and plastics. I am using California Gold Pure Brazilian Carnauba Liquid Wax.
I discovered two areas of concern.
There are two divots where the upper scoop ejects the ball. The area by the lower scoop has no such damage. The surface there seems flawless. So how do I protect the playfield from further damage? I found a mylar spot circle (marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/66-MSC); but should I place this over a divot? Or is there something I should do to actually repair the divot before putting mylar over it?
The other area is on the upper field by the bumpers. It is bubbling slightly. I read that if the mylar isn't effecting the ball, don't worry about it. This falls into that category. But is there anything I should do here?
Thanks.
