Let me start by saying I am not a newbie at crimping .156 connectors, been doing it successfully for years. Have recently had to crimp .100 connectors and am having a time with them. When I started crimping .156 connectors I used an inexpensive Waldon crimper but quickly moved on to a double crimper and love it. I don't think me crimping .100 connectors is not understanding but maybe not using the best crimper. What do you guys suggest for .100 connectors?

I use the HD-225 crimper from Amazon. It does both crimps at the same time. It's under $25. Joe

+1 - Nice crimper for the money.

It isn't cheap but I use it a lot. It is madding rebuilding connectors and end up worst off then when I started because of bad crimps. There isn't much tolerance crimping .100 connectors.

I use this one, it crimps both the wire and insulation in one step! When people said it works, I was skeptical of the quality of the crimp and repeatability but I decided to give it a try. I've used several crimpers over the years and this one is by far my favorite! Works every time and even works to crimp 2 wires on one terminal (tricky but it can be done).
