It takes a minute to remove the balls, you just bought an expensive toy, don't be lazy. 
Unless you guys are weight lifters or it's all stairs then you might want to consider saving your backs and renting a hand truck. Similar situation, I planned on doing the same with a friend, but after wheeling it out on the seller's hand truck and just loading it in the van we decided to rent one to unload it.
