Quoted from demitri:

Hello,
I'm purchasing my first pinball machine locally and will have movers handle the packaging and transportation. It's a 30 min drive, so not too far. The seller unfortunately does not know any of the details of the machine, so I was wondering if anyone could help answer some questions.
* How does the head flip down? Is it a latch somewhere, or are tools required?
* How does one remove the pinballs before moving?
* What should I instruct the movers to specifically take care of or watch out for?
I've never worked with a pinball machine before, so if there's anything I should aware of that I don't even know yet to ask, it would be appreciated!
Cheers,
Demitri

That game requires an allen wrench to unlock the backbox and fold it down.

There's a good chance it's been lost, if so you'll have to go to the hardware store. Someone can supply the size you need I'm sure. It may also be in the machine, see if the seller has the keys.

Quoted from jackd104:

Reconsider using movers. It’s close enough. Pick it up yourself with a friend. Rent a van if you need to. Most movers don’t know how to move a pinball machine and the chances of damage are a lot greater than if you do it yourself. If you are right there supervising their every move and you know what you are doing and the game is properly prepped then that could be ok.

Fully agreed. Pro movers are good for furniture not pinball.

If you don't want to deal with it, find a "pinball person" in your area and pay THEM to move it.
