Hey Guys,
I have a seemingly easy issue with a Popeye.

The right gate is locked on. I have replaced the Driver Transistor, Pre-Driver Transistor, and the 74LS374 TTL chip. I also noticed that the pull down resistor was out of tolerance (should be 2.7kohm, but was only 2kohm) and replaced that as well. All traces are present and tested as well.

I have also tested that the signal line from the driver board to the playfield is all good. If I boot the machine into attract mode the coil will lock on, if I remove the connector with the brown signal wire in it the gate will release. This is telling me that the wire is good and is not shorted to ground somewhere between the driver board and playfield.

Any thoughts on what else I should try?

Thanks Cody, I will give that a shot. I have never needed to go any deeper into the Driver Board than the TTL chip until now.
