Every night I go downstairs to play pinball and start a 3 player game and just play all 3 myself. I don't really know why. 4 just seems like too many and I get bored and 2 is just not enough!

There's something wrong with you 
I like to play 2 player games on EBD so that I can watch the game reset the drop target bank between balls
The only time I play a multiplayer game by myself is if I'm working on a certain skill or shot and I'm not trying to play the game normally. Otherwise, I can't stand single person multiplayer games. It completely throws off the flow.

that is the whole idea if you liek to compete and want to get better. It makes you think situationally and change strategy. The rabbit or the wolf.
