Hi Guys!

Hey, I know it's been talked about many, many times, but there are always new ways of doing things. Kinda like technology. Thus the reason for a new thread on an old topic. Backglass repair.

I just purchased a Fireball II and it has a few small 1/2" scratches. That in itself would not be a big deal. My concern is, from the front you CAN see that the ink is starting to lift around these scratches.

What are you guys doing, or have done WITH success, for this issue? I certainly don't feel that the whole glass needs to be sealed.

Look forward to your opinions and suggestions. Thanks so much!

To fix lifting paint, I use super glue to adhere the paint back onto the glass.

15 second liquid loctite super glue. 5 second is too fast. Gel is too thick. Longer set time allows the glue to seep into where it needs to go, and allows a few seconds of positioning and pressing.

For pressing, down, just use plastic wrap and let it sit for 24 hours. After that, the plastic will come right off. Just prep the plastic before you start gluing, so you can grab it quickly.

Awesome! Just don't want it to get any worse.

Thanks so much for that info!
