I restored an Atari Superman and got it dialed in I think now as far as play!

My question is, could there feasibly be a change in software and/or sound to add some background music/speech to this game? Furthermore, I think this would be a great addition to several older pins that were between EMs and say Gorgar, the first speaking pinball that have none! Is this possible to do easily and inexpensively? I think it would bring older SS games alive to at least have music and a few speech call outs. I am not this technical but I could see some techs doing this like the updating on newer software ROM versions!

Just brainstorming.......

It has been done but requires additional hardware as the original hardware is fairly limited and modifying the machine code is very time consuming.

Here's one example:

Here's a thread with some info on the audio from the Ghostbusters custom pin. It would be easy and inexpensive to do using this method. I have never heard of a practical way to use existing hardware for games from this era. You will almost definitely have to use some sort of add-on.

Spirit is one of if not my favorite game evar! BUT I really, really wish it had incorporated speech in it.
