Hi Everyone,
At PPE I was smitten by a pin that had LED strips flashing during pop bumper hits. The LED strips were mounted underneath along the sides. In an email the other day from my friends at X-heli, I noticed they are now stocking these:

So I ordered a few strips. If I want to wire them up to the center pop bumper (think that's most likely to get hit most often). What's the best way?
Center LED Bulb is #60 and the ground is Red-Gry. Can I just pull 12V from inside the machine and then wire to the Red-Gry ground? Are the lights always powered and then when instructed to flash the transistor goes to ground?
I bought the strips of 60, and I used their 'parts only' shipping method. The strips are nice and bright (also picked up some red ones to add some contrast to Wolverine if they work out).
Looks like those LED's in Tron are wired to 18V, I wonder if the strip can take the 18V given that it's pretty momentary.......
Thanks all, I hope that link can provide some good inexpensive inspiration to others as well.
