    Quoted from Concretehardt:

So on my STLE I am trying to figure out how to tell the negative speaker wire from the positive speaker wire on my game? One wire is yellow with a black stripe the other is yellow with a white stripe... Which is positive?(they arnt marked)

    Quoted from Concretehardt:

Never mind the speaker is marked I guess my eyes are getting old

Bumping an old thread. I'm having the same problem. I want to hook up an external sub to my STLE, but I'm not sure which wire is positive and which is negative. Where is it marked? My guess is that the wire with the white stripe is positive, and the one with the black stripe is negative.

    Quoted from forensicd:

If you look very closely on the sub in the bottom, there will be a tiny + and - on the area the wires connect to. You may need a flashlight.

I looked there closely with a flashlight earlier today, and all I saw were globs of solder. I check it out again.
