    Quoted from Concretehardt:

So on my STLE I am trying to figure out how to tell the negative speaker wire from the positive speaker wire on my game? One wire is yellow with a black stripe the other is yellow with a white stripe... Which is positive?(they arnt marked)

    Quoted from Concretehardt:

Never mind the speaker is marked I guess my eyes are getting old

Bumping an old thread. I'm having the same problem. I want to hook up an external sub to my STLE, but I'm not sure which wire is positive and which is negative. Where is it marked? My guess is that the wire with the white stripe is positive, and the one with the black stripe is negative.

If you look very closely on the sub in the bottom, there will be a tiny + and - on the area the wires connect to. You may need a flashlight.

I looked there closely with a flashlight earlier today, and all I saw were globs of solder. I check it out again.

Can I just throw something out there, cause this is what I do and I haven't blown anything up yet.. Try it one way, and if it doesn't work connect them the other way?

I'm getting this Polk psw303 sub for my machine. I would run the wires in the speaker level input correct?

Yes, if you are tapping directly off the games speaker terminals, then you would use the lower pairs of terminals marked speaker level input.

And you can plug in 2 games at a time!

I have 6 of these, got them from Newegg w free shipping for $69 each several years ago. If you sell a game, just unclip a couple wires. Get a new one, and it's just as easy to hook up. And they don't rattle the glass.
