    I won't add a chime unit unless it will keep up with the score/sound and count for every drop target i knock down.
    Vic , for what it's worth, I have a Pascal PI-1 board in my Count-Down, and have it set for fast bonus count down. I installed a chime unit per pinwiki instructions. Before I installed the chime unit, I replaced the three A-5195 coils with A-17876 coils as used on Joker Poker. The chime units' performance is strong and keeps up with the count down. When I play it, it's like playing an em-only better!
