Heya.

Just plugged in my Addams after a playfield swap. No smoke, which is good, but a few issues. No sound, a ground row short, and some switch errors.

I isolated the ground row short to be off-board, so I'll have a look at the individual switches.

The switch errors reported in test are 53, 54, 55, 56, 85 and "thing limit optos" which seems like 85 and 86 (redundant error?)

My switch errors are not in one row or column, and I've read about troubleshooting switch errors that span across rows and columns, but not fully understood. I know you can draw a box that includes the erroring switches, and it somehow points to a switch that is causing the errors, even if it is not one of the switches reported. But I don't really understand how to draw the box. Can anyone get me jump started?

On startup I get the message about ground error row 1. The self diagnostic test report gives me the switch errors. Nice catch on all optos! I'll see what they have in common tonight, thanks!
