Cliffy told me a couple years ago that he wanted to make some gold/brass ones. He couldn't get the thickness just right, so he dropped the idea.

I did get to see the prototypes in his "lair." Maybe someday he might revisit the idea.

Gotcha. You can actually have them plated, believe it or not. I know Mike Chestnut did some. It can't be that expensive for a small piece like that.
