You can still have mine if you feel like a trip to w.p.
Shredder,
They are bent outward and in specific directions ( so they don't short out to other items), And stapled... You need to get a bunch of photos.
I can get you some similar photos from my Funhouse, but you are better off getting some one to send the correct photos.
See how the outer part of the crimp grabs the insulation and the inner part grabs the wire.
This is what you want to achieve.
Note i have two differnet crimps here the first is a .156 Truifurcon. I stripped the wire to about .129 ( that was too long) then i cut off about .020" before i crimped it.
The other crimp is - I don't know maybe a .093" Bullet - I stripped that to .172"
You don't want to strip off too much.

Your box is too high. Also your cabinet is missing a piece of ply (around the switch cutout) between the box and floor of cabinet.
It would help to spend some time looking through Chris's posts above.
While i agree there should be some mechanical connection as well as a solder connection.
The wrapping the wire around is just asking for trouble. That is going to be a Pain in the ass when you have to unsolder that.
See photo below. This is Standard Williams from the factory soldering. The wires go through the holes in the tabs, and might be slightly bent to stay in place. but they will come apart when you hit them with the iron and pull them out.
You are going to have to unsolder things in the future.
