I am in for one
Still hope this project goes through. I’m putting together a Centaur, and still impressed by how well those first reproductions turned out
Quoted from indypinhead:I really like by EBD apron...top notch quality.
I've had 4 of these amazing Aprons. Not a single complete, from sizing, to graphics and screen painting. Just works of Art.
The Fathom needed an oak frame and hung on the wall at Smithsonian.
My Flash Gordon Apron was so good It made it hard to play the game, I would just stare at it!
The High Speed Apron was the Cherry on the cake for my restoration.
There are 10 Titles I would buy today if they we're made.
Quoted from brenna98:...but with the number of colors planned, the defect rate would be increase significantly.
Interesting, the number of times I’ve lurked through this thread, I never noticed this comment before. The original is just 2-colors like most.
Maybe I’ve just been stuck in the house too long, but does this mean we might get a full color variant? I would definitely buy one. Green vines, red rosebuds, purple/silver/blue for the rest. Edit: same color scheme as Miguel351 cooked up for his decals, top notch color work.
I just slightly wiped some of the paint off mine in a recent cleaning, soooo... I'm interested in one as well (original Addams, not gold if that matters)
Yep, still would like one of these. I have a nice restored/cleared PF, decent cabinet and all around nice game. The one thing I don't like is my apron that has quite a lot of missing art.
Quoted from Gunner:If this is still going to happen. I’m in.
The team was split up. So more aprons may be a thing of the past on all titles.
@brenna was hired by American pinball.
Merf is still around but don't know if he is going to continue.
Quoted from hepgeek:...Edit: same color scheme as Miguel351 cooked up for his decals, top notch color work.
Just doing my semi-annual check up on the status of these aprons. Sad to see they're not making much progress on them, if any.
Thanks for the compliment, hepgeek! I put a lot of time and effort into them to get them just right so they looked as factory as possible. I used one of my Pantone color books to match up all the colors, as well. I sent Merf and brenna the artwork(both full color and factory) back then, too, so that part of the process should be largely taken care of. Let's hope somebody picks up the slack on getting these made because I know how desperately they are needed!
