In this case, your credit card company is your only friend. And only hope, sadly. I've had very good luck with chargebacks on scammers (100%) but, BUT--never 13k. I'm not sure if that'll matter, but it will certainly be more closely scrutinized because of the dollar amount. You might want to actually call the CC issuing bank and speak with someone there. Keep each and every document that you have. Make copies. Log phone calls and to whom you've spoken with with a time stamp. This is important! Also, if there is someone you can contact and pay a few $$ to confirm that this WAS NOT caused by shipping that would be a plus and move the CC company towards a decision.
