Working on an Addams family that has the dreaded 5v reset issue. Removed driver board card to do some testing, reseat connectors, inspect for cracked solder, etc. Removed board, took a whole bunch of measurements, then replaced board back in the pinball. Now when the flashers fire (even in attract mode), the flippers slightly flip). It is not a full flip, but the flipper gets about halfway up, then releases again.

Now, I could have messed up putting the connectors back onto the board, but most of them are pokey-oked so you can't make a mistake. The first game did blow the solenoid fuse, but I stacked that up to a 20 year old fuse and reseating the connectors gave the flippers/magnets a little more juice. (Magnets were going when it blew). I replaced the fuse with proper replacement, and that hasn't failed again. Any suggestions would be appreciated and thanks for the help.

So wiggling wires on J114 seemed to modify the behavior. I repinned J114 and I still saw the issues. I ended up reseating connectors on fliptronic board and that made the issue go away. Later this week, I'll take the board out and see if there are any obvious solder cracks around the pins. Looking at the schematics it definitely seemed to be something on the fliptronic board such as a bad ground connection.
