Buy whatever TAF you like. If it has the Gold ROM set, just order the standard TAF ROM set from John Wart (or wherever).
The Gold set has one ROM chip in the CPU board and two on the sound board.
Remove those and replace with one CPU ROM and only one sound ROM.
Chip removal and replacement is not difficult but care must be taken to make sure it's done correctly - the legs are delicate and the chips must go in the correct orientation or they get damaged on power-up.
