Hi All,

I'm stumped on something here. I'm working on an Addams Family and noticed that a greed letter triggered every time the chair is shot. Ran some switch tests and discovered that Bookcase Opto 1 closes and stays closed when the chair switch is closed. I looked at the connectors and the board and can't see any obvious issues, bridges, etc. but maybe I'm missing something?

Thanks for your help!

Likely a backwards diode on the chair switch.

Looks correct to me, no?

No. Look at any of your other micro mini switches. Same wiring pattern. White wire to black end of diode., green wire to a lug, silver band end of the diode to a lug.

Your white wire is on the wrong spot. Move it over to the black end of the diode. Then it's right. Don't turn the diode around.

Well, that was easier to fix than I thought it was gonna be. I automatically went into this is gonna be complicated mode and started tracing wires instead of looking for obvious stuff. Thanks for your help LTG and CLEllison
