Add A Ball not Adding balls

Just realized that my new Capt. Card was not adding a ball one hitting Add A Ball scores @ 30,000 80,000 or 120,000.

At first I was playing 3 ball and was getting pissed that I couldn't get all the drops, so I switched it to 5 ball.

Then after a few weeks of playing, i finally realized wait this is an add a ball game, I should be getting extra balls and sure enough I look down at the score card and confirmed to myself that I am not getting the Extra Balls I DESERVE!!!

Anyone have any pointers on what I should check?

Check that the score level pins in the backbox are configured correctly. They may all be unplugged. If they're plugged into the proper hole for each score threshhold, you may have a score reel (the 10,000 reel) which has the wiper contact incorrectly installed. The correct installation position for the wiper contact is with the protruding end pointing out between the #4 and #5 on the score reel. If it's incorrect, the score reel will function properly, but the game won't award extra balls at the correct score levels, or perhaps not at all.

I have found that if a wire breaks off of a solder tab on the respective score reel circuit board that you will not get awards on points, even if you have the pins in the right settings positions in the head.

This is a very common issue to occur and would be the first thing I would check.

Yes I believe on the reels you can check continuity between the Common lug and the lug for whichever number the score reel is displaying to see if that board and the wires/solder points are good.
