Any one know why when I turn TAF on it will automatically clear all audits and get reset to factory settings?
Batteries dead. Battery power not getting onto the CPU. Bad battery holder. Batteries leaking and destroying your CPU.

Changed batteries already. Maybe a bad connection? I'll try and see if I can make it better. Also what orientation do the batteries go in? Looks like it says all positive go up.
It's my grandparents machine and the batteries were in there for a while but no corrosion on the board just a little on the bottom of battery holder

Does this game have a bios battery?

Should be three AA's on the CPU.

Use a meter and see if battery power is getting onto the CPU.

Ya all my cousins are playing it now but I'll check after
also I figure it's a bad ribbon cable or DMD but what could cause this?

Power off. Reseat each end of ribbon cables a couple times. From CPU to DMD Driver Board to DMD. Get them back on right, be aware which side the red stripe is on, and not off a row.

DMD is good. Looks like ribbon cable is beat. I bent it all around and it's good for now. I'll order one for it. thanks you the man!!!

Thanks ltg you are a real help. One final question. When 2 balls are locked in the swamp, if I don't get it in the chair to start multiballs quick enough it will just kick the locked balls out of the swamp. And it will kick the locked balls out of the swamp at random times during the game also
Sounds like your swamp switches aren’t working properly to me. If when you lock a ball the final switch isn’t working, the game should go into ball search after 15 seconds or so and start clearing the solenoids. Go into switch test and ensure all the switches work.
