My Tron LE arrived damaged, I got a replacement PF from Stern, it also said #400. I've seen 3 #400 pf's so far total.
There's 400 complete machines, but when they make a machine they'll also run off extra playfields while they are at it. They need them in case something were to happen during installation or shipping or storage etc. Maybe they make 1 extra PF per machine?
They made replacement playfields in case there was a problem and the #s on the playfields don't match the LE#. This has been discussed before.
BTW, I have LE# 363.
Ya, get all that. Just wondering how they managed the double-up, and it appears they absorb it all in a variable number of "#400 of 400"s.
--Edit. I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel for things to talk about, lol.
I have Tron LE #363
I'm sure Stern made plenty of extra playfields to cover ones they damage during production and a few for warranty replacement.
Quoted from TimeBandit:Actual number of Tron LEs (maybe not 400?)
Sounds like there are MORE than 400, because I'm pretty sure my game is also #363.
Quoted from jayhawkai:I have 500 Tron LEs in storage, so I'm pretty sure there are more than 400.
I'm blaming you for the constant devaluation of our games.
Quoted from o-din:I have LE# 363.
Quoted from vid1900:I have Tron LE #363.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:They are both wrong. I have TRON LE #363.
Will the real Tron LE # 363 please stand up (or at least light up)?
Quoted from jayhawkai:I have 500 Tron LEs in storage.
Do you keep them in a vault?
Quoted from Pinbally_1968:WTF, you sure you both own the same # ?? 363??
I know that I own mine (still have the receipt from the distributor).
Theirs might be stolen.
