If that's the case Canadians should take a stand and refuse to buy machines for that price. If the dealer has no demand and high inventory they will be forced to lower prices.

People always complain here about high prices and incomplete code but when the new games' come out they pay the higher price anyway. Just stop buying NIB games if you don't want this practice to continue! As consumers we have a choice.

Actual cost to build a machine has nothing to do with it. The only thing that matters is the price that consumers will pay for it.-what the market will bear.

Do you think the cost to produce a 20 oz Coca Cola is anywhere near the $1.50 you'd pay at a convenience store. I'm sure Coca Cola could price them at 25 cents and still make a profit. It probably costs them less than a dime to produce. Yet people are willing to spend $1.50 for them. It's the same thing for pinball machines....
