Stern although a terrible company when it comes to finishing what they start and customer service does allow more room for the designers. Nascar would not have happened at Williams. WOF and BDK would probably not have either. Stern may stick to its hardware for too long and it cuts corners wherever it can, but they do try new things with what they have to work with. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it just sucks.

Look at how many are duds though.
Popeye, crap.
DM, claw toy ruins the game.
JD hindered by theme, but still not considered an amazing game.
RS - Some like it, some don't, I hate it just because I find it boring.

That leaves:

IJ (which is hampered by the mode start hole)

If we also consider DE/Sega you get.
Baywatch - Decent game, horrible theme
GNR - Best DE ever hands down
BF - good game, but hampered by airballs
WWf RR - never played, the theme hurts it, but its still a 900 dollar machine which doesn't invoke confidence

The only other dmd widebody is Jolly Park which is tough to find in the us. Its a fun game, but its too easy.

So out of 12 widebody games made. 4 are considered by some of the best dmd titles made. They also were the most expensive machines to make which just goes to show, money isn't everything.
