I wrote a small sound player for the AC/DC LE pinball.
You can use it to listen to all the sounds that are included into the pinball
I'm sure you'll find some that you never heard !

[EDIT]See this topic : Pinball Browser

To use it, copy the latest AC/DC firmware file (ACD165LE.BIN) into the same directory than the exe file. Run the exe file, choose a position, and play the sound

As it is an early version, the sounds are not always perfect; I'm trying to improve it...

Following this work, it might be possible to modify the sounds in the future...

Tell me what you think about it !

you over on pinballhacks.com as well? Thanks for upping this. Incoming pm! I have been using it on xmen rom so far. Listing to all the quotes that are not in the game is fun. Ashame most of these will never make it in

Thank you! I've heard that Lyman will be adding additional speech to the game but that it will be an adjustable setting.

Can anybody (using earphones on the pinball) confirm whether the sounds are stereo or not ?
and if possible point out a sound where it is obvious ?

I'm not sure about the way I decoded stereo and it could explain the sound glitches...

I have not noticed any stereo in my headphones, but then again I have not been listening for it.
I'll check it out after work and pay attention to it. However I am guessing it is not as I probably would have noticed.

Thank you ! that what I thought but it seems that there are 2 channels in the file : if I decode the sounds as 1-channel streams, it yields a very poor quality.

Just finished listening to all of Steve's call outs. Pretty cool material in there. Go towards the end to hear Steve swear a bit, haha. I hope the swearing call outs eventually make it into the game! I wondering if this is all the speech recorded for the game?

There's no way of placing your own audio in a modified firmware file? That would be cool.

Cheers!
Adam.
