Here is a set of speakers to cover your flashing domes. Still finalizing the design, thinking about painting the row of knobs and frame gold to better match the machine design. They just drop directly on top of the domes and illuminate nicely during gameplay.

I like that. Kinda tones down the FLASHER IN YOUR FACE-ness and looks good.

Still pics

Ugly. Looks more like a microwave than like a guitar speaker.

Added avatar, but this is still ugly.

Have you guys ever seen a guitar amp or speaker of a professional guitar player?
Should be a Marshall stack, not a kids practise amp.

The former owner of my AC/DC had added a Fender guitar with AC/DC logo to the left ramp.
Yuuuuk!!!
Replaced it with a Gibson SG.

Yeah, not everyone is quite THAT anal, but at least this comment was more contructive than your original one..

You're aware these are 3d printed and can be improved or done with other stack designs, yeah?

Maybe you should simply market them for another game: "Microwave Dome Covers" for "Diner".

Mounting a Fender into an AC/DC pin is like putting an NCC Enterprise into Star Wars.
Sounds like you are not very much into rock music.

Thanks for the feedback.

I like a your ideas Tim, You gotta think outside the box and try different things to see how they pan out. Don't get discouraged by negative comments. Some things are hit and miss. I have bought a few of your mods , and have been very happy with your designs and your products you have produced. I like to see creative minds in this hobby and can always appreciate the ingenuity of people, keep up the good work.....

Thanks Modfather, I sit back and process the feedback even when it is shallow. I got exactly what I wanted, I asked for feedback and that's what I got. More work to be done here. BTW, congrats on your WOZ mods, I look forward to seeing more cool stuff from you.

Tim I have most of your mods and think you have a lot of vision. Your new speaker mod looks out of place because it is facing up at the player. Amps or speakers do not lay on Their backs .I think this is why galaga compared them to microwaves.cool mod but needs some tweeting .

Tweaking. Lol

Yeah, i didn't mean to offend you personally.

But does square objects on the flasher simply don't harmonize with the rest of the design.
And they don't look like guitar speakers at all (I play in a band myselfs).

Some things works, some things don't work at all.

Keep on modding.
I'll post a picture of my Gibson SG mod tomorrow. It is cheap china toy for ~10$.

And I also got an idea for a band mod. I'll send you a PM:
Maybe you are interested in building and marketing it.

Awesome, that's what I want to hear.

Might look better if they were stage monitor speakers?

Sure, but there's a fix for that.
