On the LE/Premium machines the train is held on with a nut and bolt through the ramp plastic cover and a hex head metal screw.

^^^ yeah thats exactly what i did on my pro.

OK, so mounting looks to be simple enough. Question on the light. Is it tied into another light on the premiums? Or is it a additional light on the matrix?

Here's whatcha do:

1. Mount train
2. Snip the two wires running to the z-connector
3. Splice an alligator clip to each wire (no soldering required unless you really want - I just stripped 1/2 inch on each end, spliced, and wrapped in electrician's tape)

4. Turn off your machine (safety!)
5. Run the two alligator clips behind the back box and attach to the top string of GI lights (each GI is connected by bare wire stapled on the back - just attach the alligator clip to the bare wire)
6. Turn on your machine
7. Yell out, "Holy shit, it works!"
8. Play ACDC

Um high I'm trying to use the instructions but what do you mean about top string of gi lights in back box

#8 8 years ago

I believe he means the back board behind the playfield not the back box

Quoted from tytydell:

He means locate locate ANY light of the General Illumination (GI) light circuit, and attach your two alligator clips to one of the bare wires on each side of selected light. Doing this, you have now connected your train's lamp in parallel with the light on the GI circuit, and your train's lamp will light up.

Me, I personally put my alligator clips on the leads for the "Rock and Roll Train" light on the jukebox, so my train's light turns on and off with that light (so basically it is not CONSTANTLY on all the time.

Your mileage may vary.
