Sorry, if this has been posted in the past; I'm looking for a cheap decent train mod for my AC/DC. Please, let me know of where you got your train & what type attach pics if you have one... the one on Marco is unreasonable priced @ 269. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I got mine from Stern some time back. Was $75.00 I think. Attatched it with felco strips in the same place as the Premiums. Ran the headlight wires to GI strip on back of playfield. Light just stays on of course and doesn't blink to the music.

The $75 ones are long gone. People that have these, know the value of owning the last few available and are cashing in. Yes, Marco is nuts to ask the price they want. Here is the next best thing.

Be aware that shipping from them is veeeeeery slow and communication is poor, but you will eventually get one.

I drilled both holes in my ramp to mount it in the same place as on the Premium. If you look at pics online, you can kind of see where the holes are in the premium ramp. Then look at where the train was originally mounted. Mark the ramp with tape near the edges of the train when you get it where you want. Then, pull the ramp out, hold the train next to your tape and mark the holes in the ramp, with a scribe, from the bottom side. The rear screw just screws into the train. The front screw needs to have a nylock nut fished up inside the train.

I wired my train light to the Jam Multiball insert. Keep in mind, you have to wire a diode in series with the light. This way, it lights when you have made enough train ramp shots for Jam Multiball to be available.

Thanks Storywriter this is an option but I'd use velcro or double sided tape opposed to drilling through ramp. Doesn't it come with a harness that is plug & play? Thanks.

It comes with a harness, but there's nothing to plug it into on the pro.

I actually have a extra one new in box. They sent me 2 somehow instead of one. I called and asked was up and they said they made a mistake and would I please send 75.00. I did. Never realized it would get so valuable!!!! Think I will look for it today............

Score! Double your money and it makes the train in your game free.

I actually bought a real HO scale locomotive and modified it ACDC style. I hand molded some horns for the front , added some painted flames and red accents to it and it came out awesome. I even added some leds inside it and made it interactive with the game. A special mounting bracket was cut from lexan to hold it in place. It has much more detail in the train ( horns , levers , bells, trim pieces..etc ) I could probably make more. They are hard to make , but it can be done.
