Hey everyone, Having a problem with the cannon not firing. When I check the switch in the switch test it functions properly on the first test (61) then it says " Move To Switch Test 62 Failed. During game play it will fire , but only after the second swing out, and it only fires on its own , not when I hit the fire button. I had to replace the motor and the cannon crank because could not get the screw out of the assembly as locktite was used, anyway maybe during the reassembly I didn't position it correctly or what do you think ? Iv'e read a few things about the opto not positioned right, or something but really not sure ..... thanks for any input on this

Hey all !! Have a problem when the ball goes into the jukebox kick out from the shooter lane, it kicks the ball out into the upper lanes, but continuously bounces back into the kick out over and over maybe 4-5 times before it finally rolls into one of the lanes and down to the pop bumpers. Wondering what this might be. Thanks everyone and Happy New Year !

Ok guys ,,,, Just upgraded and installed the Pinwoofer GT Amplifier Kit in my AC/DC , and I have to say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my machine ! The exceptional sound is unbelievable, crystal clear sound , not the muddled audio with the Factoryset up . If you own a music Pin or any other Pin for that matter, this is the set up you want. Brings out the clarity you want,,, very easy to install, and Dan is always there when you have any questions , very nice guy ! So don’t hesitate, it’s well worth it !!

Hi Everyone, I am in need of a Carbon Threaded Ball that attaches to the end of the Clapper rod on the Bell. If anyone has an extra by chance, or one they could part with let me know, can't find these anywhere !! I'll pay !!

Why is it that it’s very rare to see any Original Pros for sale ? Were most of them routed ? In collections ? ,,, I see tons of Premiums for sale ,,, as for me I’ll never sell mine , it’s a super fast player as you all know ,and one of the funnest machines I’ve ever owned, not to mention the music , maybe quite a few others are thinking the same way

How did you install the train?

I installed the train by attaching it with a screw, up through the bottom of the plastic that sits below the back of the train and into the bottom back of the train

Quoted from parsonsaj:

I am a very late arrival to the club with an original Pro with the Helen translite and playfield decal installed. The previous owner had done a lot of the common mods and I’ve added speaker lights, a colorDMD, lighted flipper buttons and proper service rails instead of the moronic pegs. Love this game… a nice contrast to the style of my other games (Iron Maiden and Jurassic Park)[quoted image]

Looks great !!! How’s the dog like it when your rockin’out next to him !!

Anyone ever switched out the factory "chrome" T-molding on the backbox to something that might fit the overall color scheme of the Pro better? I am thinking about doing that. I've never changed t-molding on a pin before... what's the right size to order for the Stern wooden backbox?

Black with texture looks great !! This is what you want 735FBF1F-7FE2-4380-9877-3EA16537B46D (resized).jpeg735FBF1F-7FE2-4380-9877-3EA16537B46D (resized).jpeg

You can buy the entire assembly for the swinging bell through Pinball Pirate , they are a Stern Distributor, email Christopher Kuntz at [email protected] , they are super nice and will set you up , little spendy, but so worth it , IMO

Quoted from TheShaft:Just picked a pro up last weekend. I am enjoying how fast and brutal this game is, but that’s coming from the only other game in the house being a LOTR. They’re so different from each other.
One question I have; during multiball I’ve noticed that when the canon is out, it’s low enough that balls are hitting it. Has my canon sagged a bit? Should there be enough room underneath for balls to pass by?
[quoted image]

Quoted from Psw757:

You have a link?
Don’t think pinbits is even selling them anymore but hooked is selling them for like $150 for a set of 3.

Pinbits isn't in business anymore, but like PSW757 said Hooked On Pinball has them and they are nice !

The train from Modfather is the paint job only... the train from Pinball Life is the the actual train and is one you can can also add to the Pro,,, I installed mine quite a few years back...... not exactly sure why they raised the price 200.00 bucks....guess they're just following suit with everything else going up...

Not really Pinball related but ran across an old concert ticket from 1985 when I saw AC/DC for the first time live... it was so good, and the price of the ticket was crazy, but probably pretty expensive for back then ... just thought I'd share ! Rock on !

Quoted from HOOKED:All those that have it look at your production number.
Raise the playfield and look to the left of your left flipper ...and there it is.
All of my Sterns have the production number there....from RCT to STLE.
My Avengers pro is in the 380's my tron was in the 700's.

Hi Pro Owners... Wanted to know if there was a way to find the production number of my machine. I found this thread that was done years ago by Hooked, and I do have a small sticker with a number under the playfield to the left of the flipper, but not sure if this is accurate for the production # . Anyone else have this sticker ? This was an early first run machine

Like to say a big thank you to BigalzPinz for selling me an NOS playfield. My Ac/Dc is now playable.
Only notable thing I did on the game was to light up the hells bells sign on the swinging bell. I only bought the frame from pinballlife for the swinging bell and made the rest of the parts.
