I dunno... I've had an ACDC Luci Vault for 6 months. It has the drops. They were a pain in getting them adjusted to drop reliably, but after working on the tilt of the drop bank assemblies and spring pressure over the first 5 months of ownership, I think I've got them dialed in so they drop more than 95% of the time. They'd just stand there with a hard direct hit when I got the machine, which was very frustrating. Another thing I have to deal with, is when the TNT drops are down, it exposes a circular target with exposed black rubber rings on each side of the target. Those rubber rings take a pounding and have only lasted 3 months before breaking, so I've had to take apart parts of the TNT target bank plastics/detonator and ball deflector over the pops once every 3 months to replace those rubber rings at my current level of play (approximately 1,000 plays in 6 months).

With the pro you never have to deal with these drop target issues, so I'm thinking maybe you're not too bad off without them, LOL.
