Hey all

My AC/DC Premium arrives this week (Nov manufacture date), and will be going on location on the same day.

My question, what preventative measures can I take maintenance-wise for the pin?

Do I need the cannon fix?

Cliffy shooter eject, mylar the shooter lane, shooter lane protector.

Anything else?

Thanks in advance.

Mylar under bell and pad underneath edge of lockdown bar, it will scrape the red paint off the side rail quickly. You shouldn't need to do anything with cannon. Have fun!

Thanks, I have products for both of those.

I will be installing a pin gulp as well. Any issues attaching with the new leg protectors?

So the canon 2 ball issue has been fixed by Stern in the later runs?

I've never had a cannon issue, the only thing I had to do was slighty raise the plastic ramp going into cannon. Balls would get stuck there sometimes. Wait to see how it plays before you mod. Enjoy!

Mylar the shooter lane where the ball ejects to protect the black pained lines.

From what I read on the forums here, it sounded like every AC/DC was suseptible to having two balls get stuck at the cannon.

The fixes were Dremel the ramp, put a shooter tip on the cannon tip, or a stick pad on the cannon tip.

Has Stern fixed this from the factory?

New run fixed most issues. Except the double cannon load. I used small round felt pads and attached to the cannon shooter post end. Fixed.

I also upgraded the back box speakers and added crossover. Pinball Pro sells the ACDC LE kist for like 125. Thumbs up.
