was that an alt translite right never official?

Yeah I'm with you, think the cartoony look, look's better. just placing a picture of someone on a translite never looks as good. most of the time. I've never swapped a translite, but I think I might do it to this one. Just bought a shadow, pretty sure I'm doing it with that one as well.

I bought an X-men LE from a guy, and it had the looses lock down bar ever!!
I had to stop playing the game to find out what the hell was going on.

After inspection, I found that the receiver was mounted was to high. I had to redrill, rescrew and remount the receiver and after a few adjustments, the lock down bar is now super tight.

The original lockdown system would be fine, IF they installed them correctly like the other manufactures. I'm assuming the dual latch system is easier to get installed correctly, at a faster rate. Yeah it would be cool if they stayed with the old system, but in the end it's not that big of a deal.
