Hello PinFans...

I have an AC/DC Premium on order. Should arrive in 3-4 weeks. I just need to finish paying for it.

Question: In your opinion... is it worth spending an additional approx $200 for the shaker, like the LE's?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Shakers make just about every game better.

I haven't picked on up yet, but how is the shaker on AC/DC used?

No brainer. The implementation is excellent.

Most definitely. I have a shaker in every game that can have one now

Hell Yes !!!!!!!

I think so. The Stern shakers are fairly well done and I would install them in any of my games that support them.

I was invited by a great Pinhead (Mitch) tonight to play his AC/DC Premium. He had installed the shaker in it. I totally agree, it really makes a huge difference, with music and all the modes interacting.

I'll be "Investing" in the shaker motor/mod in mine, when it arrives.

Thanks for all the great comments.

The shaker was hands down the best addition to my premium.
Order on as soon as possible.

Shouldn't cost $200 and you can do better then that.

PBL has some coming back in stock right at $150 so stock up and watch the site.
Seems some have been cranking the price up as high as $189 as of late.

I'm definitely the minority, but after going through three of them from two different vendors, and having all of them either not work right or at all I will be staying away from shakers from now on.

All three needed the screw across the top tightened to not be incredibly and annoyingly loud and jarring. One never quieted down enough to use, the second did but always annoyed me it was still too much.

The third quieted down nicely and I can see why people might like them but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Of course my third one squeaks like mad so it annoys the crap out of me too. Also one of the holes on the top for the cover isn't threaded so I can't put it on at the moment until I retap it.

I'd much rather have the connector problems others are having, at least its easily fixed. Quality on these are terrible.
