hi - hopefully this is something simple/obvious but as a newb i'm not sure hot to proceed with troubleshooting. Sometimes when I'm playing AC/DC the game acts as though the ball as drained (when it hasn't). It's hard to be sure because it happens during gameplay but i think it might be partly in response to nudging the cabinet or at least the amount of movement associated with hitting the flippers etc. I thought I'd look at which switches were active in the service menu. At rest nothing seems out of place, but i did a bit of nudging the machine around and then I saw a switch that said something like "trough jam" or "ball trough jam" but it has proven hard to replicate. Now i'm not sure if i discovered the cause of the issue or if i just pushed the cab around enough to make the switch trigger (and its not related).

Is it likely these two things are related? are there other things i can do to troubleshoot better? if that is the fault causing the issue what would i do to fix it? (so many newbie questions)

Thanks for any help/advice...

Thanks guys - i think i found the board and switches you are talking about. To my (very untrained) eye the solder points look ok. One connector was slightly off (maybe a millimetre or two clearance one one side) so I've seated it properly and will see if the problem re occurs

The connector that was out is the one you see in the first pic
