Don't be afraid to...
- Loosen screws holding things down
- adjust things so they don't rub against each other
- re-tighten the screws you loosened

But for your question, possibly try 3 separate pieces of foam at the end of the ramp...

The side pieces could help prevent bounce back. I'm assuming that's what's slowing you down - does the ball hit the end of the ramp so hard it rolls back a few inches before exiting the ramp?
Chucks idea would be the fastest, but it could be pretty hard on the playfield where the ball drops.
