Anybody have any trouble with drop targets not registering?i had this problem a few months ago and just cleaned with alcohol . My problem target is the bolt between the AC and DC. It does work sometimes but not always. I will try another cleaning underneath in the opto slots.

Pinbits plastic protectors are a good investment. Much cheaper than new plastics and look good. Pinball life sells a shooter lane protector, cliffy has left and right side bottom shooter lane protectors . Bell and jukebox protectors are a good idea. I waited to long and I have some wear. You can go with the mantis style from pinprotection.com of cliffy has the conventional type that cover small portion of playfield. If you want to really go crazy pin protection has a trough protector and protectors that mount behind your drop targets. Congrats of owning one soon.

I ordered the cliffy full pack. Didn't even know the machine had a scoop behind the bell lol
Where did you get wear?
Wasn't the premium supposed to have extra clear coating? Or it's the LE?

I got wear at the scoop behind the bell.

#71 9 years ago

I have heard prem and LE may have got more clear but kinda doubt it. Check out the pic. This is what your protector will prevent. This is a home use game with not a large amount of plays. Your dumpster looks like you are somewhere in Europe. Just curious.

Quoted from konghusker:

Has anybody installed the mezelmods drop target splints on the hell targets in lower playfield? My left one constantly needs adjusting. If so, which size splint?

I've done it. Should be the larger splint I think. Worked great for awhile but they will crack over time.

Quoted from alveolus:

What is going on with those flippers?

I wanted the lighting flippers and as you know they are shorter than standard flippers. Flippers have two sets of bands on them to make up the difference.

Quoted from pinnyheadhead:

Ok. Where did you get the armor from?

Pinball metal. Not sure if they are in business. Wanted to get cannons like the l.e. But could not find anyone to laser cut them.

Just joined the club...picked up a LTBR. My lower playfield is cloudy; any remedies?[quoted image]

I tried some Novus but didn’t help. A lot of original runs have the cloudy window and can’t reolace just the window .

Illuminated drop target mod. Never used. Pm me if interested. Instructions should still be in mezel mods site.

Sold. I apologize to the Australian Pinsiders. I should have listed it as US shipping. Sorry.

#2418 4 years ago

Thanks. Seems like a cool mod. I just have too many mods on my game. Zitt sells a similar transparent target that can be lit up if others are looking for this type of mod. Some guys are doing all three targets on Metallica and Maiden. ... looks pretty good.

#2419 4 years ago
Quoted from cpr9999:

FYI - for those that missed out Mezel mods still sells them.

When I searched for original price I Could of sworn I seen not avail. Great if they still do.

I'm usually not a mod person, but for some reason this particular game makes me want to mod it to death

It can get out of hand quick....

Anyone ever have the lower playfield left flipper stay in up position When game powered on ? I was thinking bad transitor is the normal cause but after game powered off and back on the flipper works as it should..... Weird.

#2439 4 years ago
Quoted from Dent00:

Check the mechanism and the coil sleeve to make sure it moves easily and such...

Will do. Weird how power down fixed it though.

#2440 4 years ago

Years ago I held top left flipper in to hold ball while talking on phone. It blew transitor . Replaced and all ok. Seems like your issue is more involved.
Following your thread.

#2441 4 years ago
Quoted from Dent00:

Flipper goes in to up position by its self and stays there until power off. Cycle power and it works normal again.

Correction. Lower playfield left flipper goes to flip position when one of the hell soungs selected and ball goes in jukebox.

Cycle game power and problem goes away ...

If transistor was bad flipper would stay in up position all the time and cycling power would have no effect. Any ideas?

#2445 4 years ago
Quoted from 85vett:

I dont think so as shooting the scoop in that instance energizes the mini of. That's why those dont flip all the time.
My bet is bad transistor on that line.
I understand but thought transitor eigher work or the don’t. Apparently this one is failing and works properly intermittently. Thanks.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Gonna have to be more specific. Which scoop or scoops aren’t working? There are three. Two upper and one lower.
The playfield light issue is probably a connector under the playfield. Check for loose connections down there.

How did that lit target mod work out?
