I like the way AC/DC plays. You get rewards for finishing the song. You have to start the song over with a new ball.

I meant the actually song playing... the music.

If the song didn't restart from beginning it would change scoring because you get points for actually keeping the ball in play and completing an entire song. If it continued where it left off, that aspect of scoring would be significantly easier.
I do agree otherwise though, from a music standpoint it does get repetitive!
Quoted from rai:I didn't know that you get points for completing the entire song, how is this signified?
I think when drain a ball after completing song it will say something about completed song when tabulating points or bonus. At least I think that is how it works, not an easy game.

And that is what I meant. You get extra points for the song playing through on the same ball.

I thought completed songs was how many jukebox songs (out of 12) have been finished.

Hearing the whole song is a bonus for playing well. I like it the way it is.
If you want to hear the whole song press and hold both flipper buttons while the game is in attract mode.
You get points only for songs completed by juke shots. No bonus for playing thru the end of a song , otherwise trapping up to wait out the music would be valid strategy.

And probably risk blowing the flipper transistor too.

I used to feel the same way - but now I kind of like it because you know you're kicking ass when you're really far into a song. The best is if you're in For Those About To Rock and you get to the fast energetic part...and then you get into multiball and the song is going "Fire!!!" While you're firing the ball out of the cannon. I once had a magic moment where it all synced up....the ball was in the cannon, the song said "FIRE" right as I slammed the button and got the super jackpot ..."BOOM! We salute yooouuu!!!" So f'n good.
As long as we are passing along helpful requests for ACDC, I'd like 2 mini wizard modes added. One for completing six songs on left side and the other for six on the right side of jukebox. That would serve as incentive for picking specific songs and a reward for quite an accomplishment.
