Has anyone put mirror blades in AC/DC yet? I have had them in a few other games and I always liked them, wondering if they might look good in this one? Hopefully someone has some pictures as well if so.

Here is a video I took of a AC/DC when first come as the local operator puts mirror blades on all his pins plus LEDs.
Hope that gives you a idea, looks good.
How easy are these mirror blades to install and remove? How are the attached? Any drilling or screwing in the cabinet?
Thanks

How about Monopoly with mirror blades now that would be sweet
No drilling. Just slap them on and their are 3 tiny screws that just hold them in place. The hardest part of mirror blade installation is getting them out of the shipping packaging.

I was wondering about that. I have put one tiny scrape on the inside of my Spidey cabinet. So I'm guessing if I had the blades in there....I would have a nasty scratch on it???

Now you's talkin!
It seems the only place I can find them for sale is pinballdecals.com
Anyone know any other places that sell them(hopefully for cheaper).

I bought mirror blades for my AC/DC and did not like the look. There is way too much "mechanical stuff" that is reflecting, ie: the back of the band. I decided to put them on my Avatar LE and it looks amazing.Sometimes, we want to mod so bad that we force it. My two cents.
someone with these on a TRON ? any pictures please...
tia
edit : ok, got them on http://pinballdecals.com/MirrorBladesPage.html

I'd have to agree with this. I bought black blades for my BIB an decided not to put them on. Too much stuff on the right side of the game would be shown from the back. Flames n band mechs especially.
Quick and easy to install, you can use a few pieces of 3m double sided tape to hold. Put a few bits of felt on the edge of your playfield so it doesn't scratch the blades. Try Drano he might be making them soon.

Here are pics of the ones Joey (PDI) sells which come from Germany showing how easy it is to install them.

And the felt can be purchased from these guys- scroll 1/2 way down the page to see it.

I have the blades on my TF. I never realized how sloppy I was when raising pf's before getting mirror blades. So, to answer your question; you do need to be cautious, but not EXTREMELY cautious.
I will be installing JVCC FELT-06 Polyester Felt Tape (1mm thick felt): 3/4 in. x 75 ft. (Black)
