I'd go HUO.
I still don't trust Stern.

Quoted from robotron:sometimes its worth paying a little more for good service than going to the cheaper distributor to save a few bucks.
right now i am buying from cointaker. great service.
Is one distributor better at drop shipping than another?
I believe Luci looks the best.
I own the Premium and a buddy has the BIB, but she takes the cake in my book.
Congratulations to all of the new owners.
Quoted from PinMonk:If all goes well I should have them for sale within a month or less. Just tweaking the test versions now.
Great work.
It is inexcusable that they don't include something like this for the new Sterns heads considering the price they charge.
Quoted from NightTrain:Cool cool.
I kinda gotta agree with you on this one. It's $400 for a very small LCD. You can get a 55" Smart TV for the same price with a stand and all. I understand the cost comes from the coding and what not. But I haven't bought a color DMD for my Iron Man Vault for this exact reason. I won't but one for my Luci Vault for that reason too. If Color DMD came with a frame that made it look nice, I'd be in. It's pricey toy, I don't want a big gap around the edge.
Hey, pricey toys shouldn't look like shit.
I have quite a few ColorDMDs on my older Sterns and never realized this was an issue until this thread.
Quoted from Vino:Never cared enough, but if it begins to bother me I’ll walk out to the garage.
That doesn't seem like a great solution for a 7K game.
Quoted from ecmurrayf1:I don’t care how minor I’d ask for replacements on a NIB game.
At these prices, Stern, CGC, and JJP have to have an individual who is going through these games with a fine tooth comb before leaving the factory.
The expectations of a collector are much different than those of an operator. Make no mistake, these manufacturers are targeting the one time home buyer and collector.
Quoted from robotron:why complain about nib pin with scratches, cracked wood, paint chip? how dare you. so ungrateful to stern for making these pins for us !
i bet they see all this stuff before the pins ship and they just throw em in the box and ship them out as-is.
very bad qc and seems like its getting worse.
There is no question that manufacturers knowingly ship these cosmetically compromised games.
