Life tossed me another curve ball. In a VA hospital now. Out in a few days. Quick price check on my Luci. If the community educates me on value quickly, I may be able to unload it for Bill paying. Quick facts. HUO. I am 3rd owner. About 750 plays. Mint condition...everything. Cannon mod, Bell mod, red translucent apron mod with LED lights, shaker, speaker acrylic girl mod with changing led colors, invisiglass, train track decal mods on PF n 3 locations, super bands.

My neighbor offered to buy her years ago but do to his own personal troubles he cannot now. This would have to be a cash deal. If it looks like Luci still holds a decent value and I can capture it, I will post a normal ad and make sure Pinside gets it's fee should a sale originate from here.

Thanks!

Well when i listed mine for trade i got alot of cash offers for 9-10k. Mine did have alot more upgrades tho . Id think yours cld bring 8-8500 , but bad time to sell right before Christmas so cld take a bit.....

#3 2 years ago

Where are you located?

#4 2 years ago

I have one in similar condition (less plays though) and with some MODS you don't have and some you do.....wouldn't let mine go for under 10k. The sale depends on what someone is willing to pay for such a limited quantity/rare pin....plus know it's the kick ars AC/DC stern pin with awesome code. Good luck!!

#5 2 years ago

Holding 8k all day long. Options may vary...

What you wouldn't take for yours is unhelpful and feels like price pumping. It sounds to me like an $8k pin. With no time crunch I'd recommending asking $8000, or a couple hundred less if you want it sold real quick. Good luck!

It's extremely helpful! Stop price deflating for your own personal gain down the road. Underpricing this at 8k wouldn't be a solid idea....getting it sold quick sure but he should get what it's worth in today's market.

#9 2 years ago

8k/8.5K game IMO......Id bet thats what most are selling for not asking for....... And no way is it a 10K game

MINT HUO LTBR 9.5k/10.5k
MINT HUO BIBLE 11.5k/12.5k

#10 2 years ago

HUO Premiums sell for $7500, so I'd say $8500 is in line for Luci, +/- for the market around you.

#11 2 years ago

How about 10K by Hanukkah, I am getting tired of the 10k by Christmas jargon.

Lol. I have zero interest in buying one. Everyone is saying $8000 or $8500 except you.

#14 2 years ago

Never ask here. "I WANT one...7K." "I HAVE one...10K." It's the same old song and dance.

#15 2 years ago

So since I don't want one: $8500. If I ever want one: $7500

#16 2 years ago

location means a lot. some areas stuff is just cheaper than others. FL usually has good deals. Some of the cheaper games i've seen down there and SC area. still should be able to get 8k-8500.

As for mods. Only some mods actually add value.

using the term "upgrade" for mods, should be used very loosely. because some are downright crap. and a downgrade if anything.

As a Luci owner myself, I agree with Pinballerchef. I couldn't even begin to consider letting Luci go for under $10k. I'd still have a hard letting it go for that or more. I'm not saying that's market value for one. Just that I enjoy it so much, it'd take stupid money to get it out of my collection.

#18 2 years ago

you also have to remember, those that say they wouldn't consider selling it for under this or that, is because you are NOT looking to sell. If people want something i'm not looking to sell. I have a stupid price on it, because I don't want to sell it. But the OP WANTS to sell it. Not sit on it for years waiting for someone to overpay. There is a big difference in those prices.

When i'm actually selling something, it's usually cheap. If you want something from my private collection. You will overpay through the ass.

Doesn't matter what it would take for you to sell yours..... it's what fair market value is bringing.

Fair market value is 8/8.5 like it or not. You can think it's worth anything you want but it doesn't make it so.

Mods I see special value in for Luci:
1. ColorDMD
2. MikeD's LCD mod
3. Pinbot lightning bolts.

Has this one sold? If it sits for 3 or 4 weeks at this price then we know the market is less than $8600.

Also total rock concert and stt cannon are a great addition along with ones u rmentioned...mine had all those and tons more. Which why i got what u did for mine.

#29 2 years ago

and then there are some that should lower the value of your game. like the stupid hotwheels car with the AC/DC logo on it. I'd demand $500 off for stupidity just on principle.

#30 2 years ago

I paid $8300 for a HUO Luci today with 46 original plays. Paid another $275 on eBay for the Helen translite and ordering a Mike D LCD mod as well. This game is going to get very expensive quickly, but so far it's a blast to play!

Yeah, I agree with consensus here. Going rate seems to be $8000-$8500, on Lucis with less plays than this one, so maybe a smidge less, but it's in that range, for sure.

That said, get well soon!

#32 2 years ago

Nice! I don't understand how someone can own a game like that and only put 46 plays on it.

Yep stuff adds up quickly..... had over 10k in mine but man it was a beautiful pin.

Fair market value doesn't make it so either...that's just a consensus. It will sell for what someone is willing to buy it for and the seller wants to let it go for.

I think everyone's opinions on here matter....that's what the OP was looking for.

Wow $8300 with 46 original plays in California? Traditionally the West Coast has higher prices, so logic says the prices over here should be a solid $500-$1000 less.

Not that that will happen, but kind of hard to overlook this sale (assuming it was in California).

Neo. I'm with you in the mod's, like the Helen kit, i cant stand it and would lessen the value to me. Ive done three things to mine. Day one, added a shaker and installed cliffy's. Then added back alley creations canon mod and the train tracks of the left ramp.

Ive got around 40 plays in it since opening the box, been offered 9k. But turned out down, not really wanting to let it go, to me it's the second best AC-DC package, behind back in black. Which I had and sold them bought this

Just curious... only 40 plays... how long have you owned the game?

#40 2 years ago

I got it whenever they first came out, so a couple years. With all the time I work on machines, I deal in games for a living, the excitement of playing has dwindled, but they are still works of art to me. Plus being in central Illinois there is not much around. No leagues and one other pinsider in about fifty miles. Plus add on that I have around 30 or do in my collection that takes away to. If your ever in the area. Your welcome to stop by and play anytime. That's an open invite to anyone. I don't mind people playing them.

PS, I have a hobbit smaug that i set up four months ago and still have not put a game on it

TX for the kind words LTG. I have too many issue to list here. I am either in or at the VA 4-5 days a week. It is what it is. After I unload my last 4 pins (shadow, luci, BW and PM) I still can visit Replay a few miles away and play there. They have a great collection. Just found out another surgery first week in Jan. O well. When I look at what kids are going through I cannot complain. I went ill at 49 (am 53 now). Many children are ill at birth or within a few years. So sad, just learned of a another one....a little girl at age 7 has leukemia. Expected life left? About 10 months. I have it made to have lived a full life and can still live except in extreme pain and surgeries. These poor kids are not getting that

Tx again.
