Stern, 2012Got a friend with a new AC/DC, only had it a month or so. Today when he turns it on, the three white flashers under the PF between the pop bumps (that flash with pop bumper action) come on immediately and stay on. I'm assuming this is a transistor, but I'm unfamiliar with Stern boards. Anyone know for sure?
....or could be wired twisted (touching both hot/cold) on one or more flasher bulbs.....check all the flashers....if any are touching separate them.
I just did that to my funhouse.......and burned out a transistor on my power board. I'm guessing you likely burned out a fuse on your board too (I did both).....
Could be a wire issue, transistor, or IC. Tracking an issue like this in my LOTR. I've already replaced the transistor and that didn't fix it, so now I'm onto the IC upstream. Just waiting for the IC to arrive. (Hoping this will fix it)
The transistor in question for the AC/DC pops is at Q25 and the IC is at U5.
