Just to be sure, I'd install the old code and make sure the flipper works.

No problem. I predict the flipper still won't be working, just because I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem. See if you bumped any connectors when you were in the head, etc.

Check coil lug wiring? Anyhow, I'm sure you'll get it working.
