I'm totally agree with you. I'm surpised more people aren't talking about this considering all the possibilities it offers.

If you consider this utility a "mod" then its truly the most significant one ever. With some effort (ie a lot) you could totally re-theme a modern Stern machine with all new call outs, music, dots, and sound effects. The only thing we can't change (yet) is the rules.

I've never player Sterns World Poker Tour, but it seems to get some love. At the same time a lot of people think the theme and art were a bit lacking. Seems like that would be a good candidate fro a re-theme.

Does the pinball_broswer utility work with Stern games from that era?

I used the windisk32imager utility to make an image of the SD card from Batman66. When I try to read it via v5.97 it gives a "unknown firmware " message. Anyone else have that issue?

The program now recognizes the files but I get an unknown exception error when trying to open them.
Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

I have the same problem the latest Batman66 code. I think the smaller file is an update to the spike OS system and the larger file is the game code update.
