Did a search and did not exactly find anything that was just like my issue.

As soon as switch number 62 is activated the cannon stops, If I hit test again it will continue forward and all the way back to the home position. It does look as if it jumps a little at that location when it swings back. If I unplug switch 62 it will continue to work until it times out (goes all the way up and back) I did not see anything physically binding it.

Any suggestions? I e-mailed stern but don't expect a fast response

I would do some basics. In switch test hit #62 a bunch of times, slowly. See if it registers one hit or multiple hits.

Then be sure switch isn't flaky, and wires in nearby IDC connector are pushed in tight and making good electrical contact.

As always thank you LTG - However switch #62 stays active during this entire path (as it should), and does not appear to go in and out. Its just as soon as it hits the switch the game gives up.

Quoted from coz6:

Not sure about the switches, but the movement is correct. It runs about 1/3 of the way out and stops. Then you hit the start button again and it goes all the way out, then back to the home position and stops. If that's what yours is doing, it's fine.

Quoted from coz6:

It does look as if it jumps a little at that location when it swings back.

Is that the only problem you're seeing? You didn't really say what your problem is. If the cannon is auto firing, many have suggested that's a cannon opto issue. Do a search here on cannon opto.

Interesting - well then my question is why is it not moving in the game correctly. Gets stuck at the same location during gameplay but will not go forward until the game does a ball search.
