Anyone have an update from Stern on this?
I just spoke with Chaz yesterday and Stern is still working on a fix for this.
Dremmeling the ramp is indeed a fail-safe permanent solution--and may ultimately prove to be the best solution.
However, what if Stern's official Service Bulletin/fix is to use a retrofit (such as a longer plunger)?
If that wouldn't bother you, then Dremmel the ramp: it's hardly noticeable.
