Well, the tennis game was just a proof of concept and was not really playable... (http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/acdc-program-modification-proof-of-concept-1)
So, here is a breakout game !
On AC/DC, it is ran each time the ball falls into the knocker of your choice (jukebox, bell, cannon).
[EDIT]A 'knocker' is a solenoid that will lock/eject the ball (this is the way Stern calls them; some solenoids are not knockers : left and right flippers, slingshots, ...)
For the video, I choosed the top knocker (aka jukebox).
It is still very basic, but it now interacts with the pinball :
- the game will start for 30s when the ball falls into the knocker
- it plays some callouts (welcome sound, 10s countdown, bounce sounds, ...)
- the current player will earn points (10000 for a brick hit, 50000 for a brick destruction, ...), but will loose 50000 when he misses the ball...
- some bricks are stronger than others, and several hits are required to detroy them
To install it, rename breakout100.txt to breakout100.hex, use Pinball-browser v2.01, and go to the 'advanced' tab : you can select the knocker that you want
It should work on several games : X-Men, MTLE, ...
