Next up in our continuing highlights of new features and innovations on the P3: One-handed play.
The stock button box on each side of the P3 has 3 buttons. When configured for one-handed play by the operator, the red button continues to control the flipper on the same side of the machine, and the white button controls the flipper on the other side of the machine. Whether you want to play with your right hand or your left, you can completely control the game with just one hand.
We first showed off this feature publicly at Expo 2016, and we hosted a one-handed tournament at that year's Pinball Life party. There it was mostly people playing the game with one hand and drinking beer with the other, but this feature is great for those who are disabled and can only use one hand. It's available in all P3 games.
This is also a player profile feature. So if the operator allows players to edit profile settings, you can enable or disable one-handed play in your profile.
